Welcome to Taste Budz!

Taste Budz have been meeting pretty consistently, on Thursday evenings every month or two, for close to three years now.  We sample beers, talk about beer, pair beers with some good food, and sling a lot of good-natured bullshit.  This little blog will be a way that the members of Taste Budz can look back on previous get-togethers, comment on what was good or not so good, and help our ever-so-slightly addled memories to recall what beers we might want to try again.

The last get-together was on Feb. 23.  A big turn-out but, unfortunately, I wasn't able to be there...especially unfortunate because we were drinking Bruery beers - supplied by Nick, from the West Coast chapter of Taste Budz.  The word from Jack was there was "not really a bad beer in the bunch.  The stand outs were Mischief, Rugbrod, and Saison Rue."   Brewed in Orange County, CA, they are now available in Wisconsin stores too.
The Bruery

Cheers!
